Global Citizen Leadership Program at iFEEL

iFEEL Institute of Management strives to provide its students with the best corporate exposure possible in order to make them ready for tough, but the rewarding corporate world. One such platform provided to the students at iFEEL is the unique Global Citizen Leaders Program. Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) and Design Impact (DI) have collaborated with iFEEL to develop the Global Citizen Leadership Program. This program is designed to develop leadership, innovation and social engagement in the next generation of business leaders in India.

Since 2013, iFEEL is engaging the students with business impact projects. In this six-month long project, students get an opportunity to work along with corporate leaders. At the end of it, they work to find a solution, which needs to be sustainable, implementable, acceptable and scalable for the company. This program has a continuous evaluation process, which includes a midterm and a final presentation. iFEEL students have worked with and provide sustainable solutions to companies like Pidilite, Bank of India, Future Group, Ador Multiproducts Ltd., etc.

For GCL, 2017, students worked on specific business challenges shared by some top notch organizations like Sublime Factory, TATA Rallis ( A TATA Enterprise), Disha Direct Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. , Gold Star Jewelry Ltd., KhelKhazana, Goldfield Resorts and LeapforWord. The iFEELites have been striving hard for the past five months. The final presentation for GCL was held on the 31st March, 2017 at the iFEEL campus. Some prominent corporate leaders like Dr. Ravindra Pratap Gupta, Chairman and MD (Aviyana Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Virendra Verma, Group Head (Adfactors PR), Mr. Sandeep Bhattacharjee, Associate Director of Sales (MTS) were invited to judge the event. The judges were welcomed by the students and the Dean of iFEEL, Mr. Sudhir Salunkhe.

The eminent personalities addressed the students and faculty members. They spoke about various aspects of entrepreneurship and shared their experiences. Each team tried to put its best foot forward during the event. The performance of the young leaders was truly remarkable. They seemed confident and enthusiastic. The judges appreciated the out of the box business ideas and the presentation style adopted by the students.

The students were judged based on a number of different parameters like unique presentation style, analytical skills, content, etc. The teams Leapforword secured the first prize, Tata Rallis secured the second prize and PropertyManagers360 was placed in the third position. They were awarded with trophies and certificates. The students were thrilled and elated as their hard work was acknowledged. It contributed to their professional and personal growth and proved to be an enriching experience for each of them.

Thus, one more year of theĀ GCL program successfully came to an end with a hope to bring something better in the coming years.
