India, a country on the threshold of economic development, is in great need of a new-age leader. Hence, iFEEL in association with Jaro Education, powered by Shiksha.com presented Hunar’17: A Nationwide Search for India’s Best Leaders’ Crew! The said contest was conducted over a period of 6 months among final year students of 90 colleges from 35 cities in 12 Indian states!
To hunt for India’s Gen-Z leaders, Hunar was conducted in a tiered format. The first – qualifying round held at a collegiate level, saw 7000+ eager participants take an online aptitude test. The best of this lot were then involved in Group Discussions, from where top 3 performers of each college advanced to the second level – the Zonal Level.
The shortlisted candidates, who made it to the Zonal Level, were grouped in teams of 3 as per their colleges to compete in 5 different zones. They were then tested for their critical thinking and problem solving
abilities in a Case Study Challenge. 19 teams that displayed brilliant leadership skills during the Zonal Level got an entry ticket to the third and final – National Level round!
The National Level challenge was held with much fanfare at iFEEL’s Lonavala Campus on the 25th of February, 2018. The Grand Finale witnessed the greatest of the lot take on each one last time to be crowned as “India’s Best Leaders’ Crew.” A unique challenge that tested the finalists’ intellect and business strategies was graced by the presence of chief guests: Mr. Trishneet Arora (author & entrepreneur), Mr. Pradeep Lokhande (CEO Rural Relations) and Ms. Shiwani Saini (actress, model and fashion designer).
After months of hard work and dedication, Mr. Anindyo Choudhary, Mr. Ayush Alok and Ms. Shikha Dayal from Birla Institute of Technology emerged as winners at Hunar’17!
