i4 Speaker series conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Wason & Mr. Milind Kher

iFEEL being a core PGDM institute, strives to provide its students with the best corporate exposure. One such platform provided to the students at iFEEL, is the ‘i4 Speaker Series.’ The i4 session is conducted every Saturday wherein speakers from corporate who have achieved commendable heights are invited to share their expertise and knowledge with the students in areas of Operations, Finance, HR and Marketing.

This week’s i4 was conducted on 24th  September 2016 at the iFEEL campus, Lonavala. The speaker of the session was Mr. Sanjeev Wason, Director, Credit Suisse with more than 20 years of work experience of which 14 years in the space of Investment Banking, Communication, Leading and Insurance Operation. He had been associated with 3 start-up organizations like EXL Service, JP Morgan and Nomura. The areas which Mr. Wason covered for the session were Leadership and he also talks about ‘’Peacock in the land of Penguins’’, also importance of integrity and ethics in corporate and he shared his real life experience with us which we could easily relate. He also mentioned how to analyse the particular situation. The major 3 questions like ‘Why, How, What’ to solve the critical situation or case followed by a Question-Answer session with the students.



Second speaker for the day was Mr. Milind Kher, Sr. Branch Manager, Sharekhan Ltd. with more than 16 years of experience in Equity Broking Industry. He has seen the industry evolve and has worked in roles from the ground up from ‘’ On the floor” roles to management. The areas which Mr. Kher covered for the session was about the equity market. He told us about how the market works, selection of a particular company, areas of investment in market. He also told us how to choose a company with the help of four major points i.e. company balance sheet, company’s management, products and industry status followed by Question Answer session with the students.




Some important takeaways of the session were- Leadership qualities, how to be a Peacock in the land of penguins, importance of self-grooming and team building, areas of investment, why to invest and benefits of investing into equity for long run and how to select a company to invest.
