iFEEL organizes several engaging events during the independence week; calls it Azadi 70 week

iFEEL celebrated the Indian culture, and it’s artistic approach towards life by organizing Azadi 70 week, at its campus at Lonavala. The students conducted a number of engaging activities, and moreover all the activities were patriotically themed.

They organized a poster making competition. This event saw the participation from a number of students who were keen to display their artistic skills. The students put their best foot forward and made beautiful posters depicting the Indian freedom struggle. This event was judged by the faculty members. The event helped the students explore their creative side and created a fun filled ambience in the premises. Keeping up with the spirit of the nation, celebrating its 70th year of independence, the students at iFEEL organized a Rangoli competition. The first year students as well the second year students participated in the event. The students had come up with some fairly creative designs, and at the end it had become difficult for the judges to choose a winner.

After which, the students organized a debate competition. The topics they chose were highly patriotic in nature and relevant of course in today’s time. The students were given five minutes to put across their point and a minute each to conclude. The students were well prepared and it was nice to see them so charged up and sensitive about their motherland.

 

iFEEL promotes not just academic excellence but also sports and physical development. And so, Sports day was organized on the 21st August 2016 for the students. They played Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Dodge ball,Tug of war and Chess. All such Indian sports were played by the students in order to promote these home sports. The students had a fun session and were very proactive whilst on the field. The students formed groups and participated in all the activities with enthusiasm.

 

The students also organized a fun session of games known as a ‘minute to win it’ on the 23rd of August, 2016. The students were given only a minute to compete with each other. The session involved fun games such as map making with materials, dress me up, cup and card and more. These games increased the excitement level of the students and they seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.
