AICTE MoUs to pave new ways for institutions, students and faculty members The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), on October 17, 2017 has signed a bunch of MoUs with many organizations with the aim of improving the technical education scenario of the country. Institutes providing such education, students and faculty members are expected to be directly benefitted by these MoUs.

As per the MoU signed, Kochi based Fourth Ambit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. would work with AICTE and its member institutions to setup private online community portals for AICTE approved institutions. This would help the institutions bring together and engage alumni, parents, corporate partners and other well-wishers, thereby facilitating value for their students and faculty. In addition to the portal, a supporting ecosystem would also be set up at the Fourth Ambit platform level by on-boarding partners across themes like skilling, entrepreneurship, networking, jobs, internships, faculty capability building, higher education, social causes and technology evangelism. An MoU was signed with Bangalore based eMBArkers, a management education firm founded by alumni of IIMs. eMBAekers would provide a complementary source of knowledge, mentoring, real life exposure for students and linkage with real world acting as a launch pad for the corporate careers of students of Management programs of the AICTE approved institutions. The signed MoU with Lucknow based Scholars Merit Online Private Limited aims to provide access to students to undertake Employability & Other Tests. Students can benefit from the assessment of their knowledge and analysis of core areas for improvement. This will help enhance their probability of obtaining employment upon clearing their respective courses. The services mentioned in the MoU will be carried out by Scholars Merit for free of cost. MoU was also signed between AICTE and Noida based Studenting Era, a service portal for students, covering services like skill-based training, personality assessments & counselling, digital library, international student cards, employability news & assistance, etc. As per the MoU, Studenting Era will sponsor 100% of its Membership Fee for all registered students and faculty members of AICTE approved institutions and offer state-of-the-art online trainings & services. MoU was signed between AICTE and Bangalore based Campus Quotient that enables industry-academia collaboration. The MoU will facilitate transformation of campuses into a technology and innovation hub with the current state-of-the-art infrastructure and next generation talent, to self-sustain the needs of the industry and thus improve employability.
