Prof. Sameer Patil

Prof. Sameer Patil holds a Degree in Pharmaceutical Science and a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management. He has a rich corporate experience of 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry in the sales and marketing domain with a successful track record of new market development, new product launch, and sales growth acceleration through various marketing programs. During his corporate journey, he has handled institutional sales and has expertise in liaising and key account management. He has built, trained, and mentored sales teams ensuring their perpetual career growth while meeting organisational objectives. His areas of expertise are customer relationship management, product & brand management, and channel management.
He has 10 years of experience in management education, teaching various subjects across Marketing Management, Agri-business Management, Pharma & Healthcare Management and Organizational Management. He has organised and attended many State Level, National & International Conferences and authored Research Papers in UGC listed Research Journals. He has served as a member and Chairman of the Paper Setting and Syllabus Revision Committees of many subjects of the Management Faculty of Savitribai Phule Pune University. His interest lies in Entrepreneurship, CSR & Sustainability, Sustainable Development and Consumer Behaviour.
Being a devoted environmentalist, naturalist, and Conservationist. He is a Founder member of an NGO dedicated to Awareness, Education & Conservation of the environment and has organised & participated in many environment conservation drives and initiatives. He is a fitness enthusiast and a social change maker who has organised and participated in many Cyclothons, Marathons, Blood Donation Camps, Natural Disaster Relief & NGO Connect activities
