Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Purpose
The withdrawal and refund policy administers the withdrawal process from the PGDM program and the corresponding fee refund, observing the AICTE guidelines related to the refund schedule (based on the UGC framework for refund of fees and non-filling of seats).
Scope and Applicability
The withdrawal and refund policy applies to all admitted PGDM students who withdraw from the program, whether before or after the commencement of the academic session.
Policy Statements
- A student wishing to withdraw from the program must submit a written application to the Director, stating the date from which withdrawal is sought.
- The refund of fees will be determined in accordance with the AICTE-approved refund schedule, taking the institute's officially notified last date of admission for the relevant batch as the reference date.
| Timing of Withdrawal | Refund |
|---|---|
| 15 days or more before the last date of admission | 100% of fees paid |
| Less than 15 days before the last date of admission | 90% of fees paid |
| Within 15 days after the last date of admission | 80% of fees paid |
| Between 16 and 30 days after the last date of admission | 50% of fees paid |
| More than 30 days after the last date of admission | No refund |
- A processing fee, not exceeding the amount permitted under applicable state or AICTE guidelines, may be deducted from any refund regardless of the slab applicable above.
- Refunds shall be processed within 15 working days of the Director's approval of the withdrawal application, through the same mode by which fees were originally paid, unless the student requests otherwise in writing.
- Withdrawal on account of admission cancellation by the institute for reasons attributable to the student, such as document fraud established under the Admissions Policy, shall not entitle the student to any refund.
- This policy does not cover statutory deposits (such as caution money or library deposit) held separately, which shall be refunded in full on clearance of dues, irrespective of the withdrawal timeline above.
- Any dispute regarding refund calculation shall be referred to the Director, whose decision, after consultation with the Governing Body if necessary, shall be final.
